Salomé Sandoval (SaSa)

Multifaceted artist Salomé Sandoval (SaSa) is a singer, guitarist, and early music specialist who performs innovative multilingual programs ranging from Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque repertoire to 20th-century music. Accompanying herself on lutes, early instruments, and classical guitar, her performances often integrate visual arts, dance, and theater, creating immersive interdisciplinary experiences in which music remains the central expressive force. Originally from Venezuela, she has performed as singer and instrumentalist with numerous ensembles and choirs in both Venezuela and the United States and remains active as a music educator and lecturer. SaSa has presented masterclasses in classical guitar in New York, North Carolina, Minnesota, and Mexico. Her recording collaborations include projects with Newberry Consort and Revels, alongside two independent solo recordings of her own work. Recent collaborations include Raleigh Camerata, Boston Camerata, El Mundo, and Newberry Consort, as well as performances with her own ensemble, El Fuego Early Music Ensemble.
