Patrick Dailey

Patrick Dailey is a celebrated countertenor praised for his “powerful and elegant” voice (Los Angeles Daily News) and named a “VOCAL STANDOUT” (Boston Classical Review). He has performed with leading opera companies and orchestras nationally and abroad, collaborating with artists including Broadway composer Jason Robert Brown and Aretha Franklin. His work spans diverse projects such as Ben Gregor’s Fatherhood (FUSE TV), recordings by Louis York (American Griots), The Aeolians ofOakwood University, and the film Once Again by Boaz Yakin.

Known for his versatility, Dailey appeared on season 17 of America’s Got Talent as the operatic voice of Terry Crews with Metaphysic. He was named Best Classical Singer in Nashville Scene’s 2022 Best of Nashville issue. Recent highlights include performances at Opera PhiladelphiaCarnegie Hall, Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre, and his Paris debut at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées with Africa Lyric’s Opera.

Beyond performance, Dailey is a professor of voice and founding director of the Harry T. Burleigh Spirituals Festival and Big Blue Opera Initiatives at Tennessee State University. He also serves as Artistic Director of the 105 Voices of History National HBCU Choir and is active in arts leadership, including roles with Opera America and as president of the International Florence Price Festival.
