Matthew Dean

Matthew Dean is a touring early music vocalist, nonprofit consultant, and ensemble development leader based in Oak Park. As founding manager of Schola Antiqua, he secured grants, academic residencies, museum gallery concerts, and two recordings on Naxos Classical. A UChicago staff member for 20 years, he worked in the nationally-recognized Foundation and Corporate Relations team and led historic preservation and program curation at Rockefeller and Bond Chapels. In addition to his work with the Consort, he advises ensembles including The Oriana Singers, Transept, Tapestry, and The EcoVoice Project.
