Born and raised in Mexico City, Lucía Mier y Terán Romero holds a bachelor’s degree in singing from UNAM, an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College Chicago and a Certificate in Spanish teaching from UNAM.

 In Chicago she has performed with The Newberry Consort, Third Eye Theater Ensemble, Walkabout Theater, Erica Mott Productions, Rough House, Filament Theater, Theater Unspeakable and Goodman Theater.
