Danny Mallon

Danny Mallon holds Bachelor and Master of Music
degrees in classical orchestral percussion from the
Mannes College of Music in NYC, where he has been a
faculty member since 1991. In addition to three recordings
with Chatham Baroque on the Dorian label, he can also be
heard on Piffaro’s Dorian recording. He has recorded with
the Baltimore Consort, Brio and on one of Ronn
McFarlane’s solo recordings on the Dorian, Sono Luminus
label. He also played on L’Harmonie des Saison’s Juno
award winning recording, Las Ciudades de Oro.

Danny has been a guest performer with period instrument
ensembles such as; Jordi Saval’s Le Concert Des Nations;
The Newberry Consort; The Venice Baroque orchestra;
The Trinity Wall st. Baroque Orchestra; The Baltimore
Consort; Ensemble Galilie; BEMF chamber players;
Rebel; Apollo’s Fire; The NY Collegium; NY Baroque Inc.;
